Shirley joined Malone, Dirubbo & Company, PC in 2000. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Vermont in 1975. After a few years working as a forester for the USDA Soil Conservation Service and then many years at home raising her children, she returned to school to study accounting and taxation. In 1994, she passed the Internal Revenue Service’s Special Enrollment Examination.
